Hat Trick For Autumn Coin-Op Show

The third Autumn Coin-Op Show has closed with high levels of satisfaction being reported by exhibitors and visitors alike.
Within minutes of opening, the show floor was packed with industry professionals, eager to experience the very latest products from industry-leading exhibitors. Networking was high on the agenda, with the exhibition floor and bar areas buzzing with talk of the previous season’s trading and the opportunities that lie ahead. It ‘s probably fair to say that there was also  some talk of trips to West London in years gone by.

ACOS 2016, however, was not about nostalgia. Exhibitors revealing their very latest developments were rewarded with a stream of targeted visitors eager to experience the latest business-building products and ideas.

The high quality of visitors was something of a recurring theme with exhibitors, with Electrocoin’s Kevin Weir commenting, “A very good show. The quality of visitor is as good as it gets; every visitor has been a serious customer.”
At Wexel Gaming, Chris Shipley was also pleased: “We’ve had decision makers, and in good numbers and we’re particularly pleased at the positive reaction to our AWP in-fill cabinet,” revealed Chris.
Reflex Gaming’s Quentin Stott also confirmed a productive show, saying, “We’ve been hugely busy  seeing  Operators, Pub Retailers , Arcade Operators and Bingo Operators. “

Organiser Karen Cooke explains: “We’ve promoted ACOS 2016 very heavily, but in a very targeted way and this seems to be paying off. We’ve been complimented by many exhibitors on visitor quality and the absence of time wasters and tyre kickers. We’re very aware of the resources our exhibitors put into the show and it’s good to know that they’re reaching the right people,” revealed Karen.

Exhibitors are also appreciating the event’s relaxed nature and the opportunity to spend quality time with customers,  a point neatly made by Steve Short of Bandai Namco Amusement Europe: “We’ve had a good first show with visitors loving our new PAC-MAN Smash Slimline.  The relaxed nature of the show has meant that we can spend valuable extra time speaking with customers,” revealed Steve.

In conclusion, Karen commented, “If exhibitors have been impressed by the calibre of visitors, then we’re very happy as well; it’s a success for the whole industry.”
